Offline-first scoring

Your match stays on the phone, ready when the app opens again.
Go live or back up when you have signal. Offline balls catch up on their own.
Cricket is played in places that were never designed with signal in mind: school grounds behind thick walls, terraces, indoor courts and long outfields at the edge of town. A scoring app that needs the internet to record a ball will fail you exactly when you need it.
Scorecord is local-first. Every ball is written to your phone the moment you tap it. The network is optional, so a weak signal can never lose or delay a score.
If you share a live link and the signal drops halfway through, keep scoring. The balls are saved on the phone and sent to the live match as soon as you are back online. People following the link see the score fill in.
Because nothing has to be synced to start, there is nothing to sign in to. Open the app, score, close it. If you later want a live link, you sign in once. Until then, Scorecord asks you for nothing. More in the cricket scoring app overview.

Only the online extras: live links and cloud backup need a connection. They catch up on their own when the signal returns.
The match is still there. Reopen Scorecord and continue from the last ball.
No. The balls you score while offline are kept on the phone and sent to the live match once the connection returns.
